Have you noticed the snowdrops starting to appear as you walk through the reserve?
Snowdrops are often the first flowers to emerge at the end of winter, and are widely seen as a symbol of hope and renewal. They’re a quiet reminder that brighter days are on their way.
🌱 Can you help us plant more?
We’re hoping to plant 2,000 more snowdrop bulbs along the Lime Tree Avenue and create an even more beautiful display each spring.
You can support the project by donating bulbs — sourced from a UK supplier that doesn’t use neonicotinoid chemicals, that are bad for bees and other pollinators. 🐝
💚 The cost of bulbs is:
- 50 bulbs — £7.50
- 100 bulbs — £15
- 200 bulbs — £30
If you’d like to donate a few bulbs, email Steve (our warden) with how many bulbs you’d like to sponsor or visit our online shop:

Please email or donate online by Sunday 15th February so we can place the order.
