Have you thought about how best to dispose of your Xmas tree at the end of the festivities?
At Vinters Valley Nature Reserve we would be happy to dispose of your Xmas tree for a £5 donation to the nature reserve.
All the trees will be chipped and the material used to create wildlife features within the nature reserve – insect and reptile basking areas / fungi friendly zones / grass snake egg laying mounds etc – so everything will be recycled to help nature.
Maidstone based tree surgeon Joe Kinch, of Kinch Tree Services www.kinchtreesurgeons.co.uk will be providing his chipper and labour free of charge, to help the nature reserve.
So please pop the date – Saturday 7th January 10.00am to 2.00pm – in your diary and help support your local wildlife and nature reserve this festive period.
