Information Announcement - New mobile number to contact the reserve warden (Steve Songhurst)

As of Monday 28th June 2010 the mobile number to contact the reserve warden on has changed. Please could we ask you to use this new number and to also update any records you have

The new number is: 07801 231674

The old mobile number is currently diverted to the new number, but it will cease from around 26th July 2010.

    Butterfly ID Training Day

    Sunday 8th August 2010
    10:00 - 15:00

    Peter Kirby from the Kent Branch of Butterfly Conservation has kindly agreed to run a training day at Vinters Valley to help the many people who enjoy seeing butterflies flying amongst the summer flowers in reserve, but perhaps struggle to identify the butterflies they see.

    Booking is essential as there are only 12 places available.

Blue Tit Route


Is this your first visit to Vinters Valley Nature Reserve? Would you like to take a short walk around the reserve?

Then why not follow the new Blue Tit route. The route will take you around areas of the reserve where you will see all sorts of different wildlife, like birds and butterflies. The route starts and ends at the Lodge Road entrance and will take around 1 hour to complete
