Vinters Valley Nature Reserve
- Events diary for 2008

Tree Walk
Sunday 13 July 10.00am – 12.00 pm - Meet at the Lodge Road Entrance
Due to its history, Vinters Valley has both introduced species as well as many native trees, each with its own beauty. The aim of the walk is to help you to identify many of the tree species in the reserve and provide a little bit more information about the trees themselves
If you are a regular visitor and would like to know more about the trees, whether it is help tell the difference between a coast redwood and dawn redwood , a penduculate oak and turkey oak, or where in the world do some of the introduced trees come from, why not come along on Sunday 13 July, the walk is free and children are welcome, but no dogs please.
Bring along a bag if you would like to collect leaves from the 20 -25 different trees we will visit, or alternatively a camera, as these will help you to remember the identity of the trees for the future.
For more information please contact us.
