Bird Boxes project - Diary
pages - The end of the 2008 surveys & summary
The surveys for 2008 finished during the first week of June. Overall the project has been, again, a big success. In the next few weeks I will be adding a copy of the article I have written for "Parklife", which summarises the 2008 nesting season.
During July I will be looking out for any second broods of Great Tits or Robins. If any nests are found a new diary entry will be added. Keep an eye on the Diary pages.
I would like to thank Steve, Jane & Pauline for helping me cover the surveys this year.
We will be back in 2009 with the project and covering another nesting season.
Below is a general final summary for 2008. It is currently based on the survey results. When we clean out the boxes during September the summary will be updated with any corrections etc.
