Bird Boxes project - Diary

Due to the weather, during the survey, there is very little I can write in this diary entry.
The weather was very cold with sleet showers and bitterly cold NW winds. Some of the sleet showers even had some wet snow mixed in. Yuck!
So has Spring sprung and was we mad to go and carry out the survey?
As a result of the cold weather we saw no/new activity at any of the boxes, which was not a suprise. We did see many species of birds looking for food.
Hopefully the weather will now improve and we will see more activity on the next survey.

The next survey will be carried out on 29th March 2008.

What can nature/the weather throw at us next. More snow, gales or heavy rain. Sunshine and warmer temperatures would be nice! (please)
